Turn every forecourt into a profit centre
The fuel is the reason people stop. The store is where the margin is. Measure who stops, who comes inside and what they do, then spread your best sites' playbook across the network.
Pump-to-store capture across the network, privacy-first.
Why gas-station chains choose Bumbee Labs
-
See your pump-to-store capture
Measure how many people who stop for fuel actually come inside the store, so you can lift the conversion where the margin really sits.
-
Benchmark every forecourt
The same metrics across every site let you find your best performers and copy their playbook for layout, staffing and promotions across the network.
-
Network-wide rollout, no privacy risk
Anonymous by design and approved by a data protection authority, the same at site one and site two hundred.
The job to be done
A forecourt chain is many similar sites judged as one business. Every site raises the same questions: How many people stop? How many come into the store, and how many refuel and leave? How long do they stay? Which sites convert stops into purchases, and what do those sites do differently? Are promotions and signage working? Is staffing matched to real arrival patterns?
Forecourt footfall measurement, site by site
Bumbee Labs measures footfall on the forecourt and in the store, usually using existing Wi-Fi, and delivers it consistently across every site so you can benchmark. It is the only footfall method in Europe approved by a data protection authority, which settles the privacy question once for the whole network.

What data you get
- Pump-to-store capture rate: of everyone who stops, how many walk into the store.
- Visitor counts and dwell time for each site and for the network as a whole.
- Hot and cold zones inside the store, the basis for layout and product placement.
- Site-to-site benchmarking, so the best forecourts become the template for the rest.
- Peaks and trends that put staffing, promotions and opening hours on real arrival patterns.
- (Planned) vehicle & number-plate counting (ANPR): forecourt vehicles tied to store capture, a capability on the roadmap.

Proof: the same playbook in retail
A forecourt network is the same multi-site retail problem a large Scandinavian retail chain tackled with Bumbee Labs: consistent measurement and benchmarking across every site, with conversion-funnel data used to lift profitability where the margin sits.

Frequently asked questions
What does pump-to-store capture rate tell us?
It is the share of people who stop on the forecourt and then walk into the store, the key number for turning fuel stops into store margin.
Do we need new hardware at every site?
Usually not. The Wi-Fi already running at each site typically covers the forecourt and the store, which is what keeps a rollout across a large network realistic.
Can you count vehicles on the forecourt?
Not yet. Vehicle and number-plate (ANPR) counting is a planned capability that will connect forecourt vehicle numbers to store capture, and we can share timing in a demo.
Compliant where it counts
Proven with partners and customers across markets, so the network rollout is a logistics question, not a legal one.
