The main product is the data in the API. The platform is dashboard-agnostic, so you can bring your own BI tool and we integrate into it, or use a ready dashboard with templates for common segments.

How does the people counting API connect the data to your systems?

A people counting API is how the counts your sensors produce become numbers your systems can use. Ours is open, documented and pull-based: your systems fetch the data when they need it, and every installation and every metric is available around the clock. You decide where the data goes and who reads it.

You can schedule exports and reports, connect the BI tools you already run, or build on the API directly. Most teams start in the Explore portal, which works from day one with nothing to build.

Wi-Fi counting from Bumbee Labs runs on the Wi-Fi you already have, with no new hardware. The API is also not tied to one camera brand: it brings every Bumbee Labs method (Wi-Fi, sensors and cellular) into the same source of truth.

Can we get our footfall numbers into our own BI instead of another portal?

Yes. The API is open and pull-based, so anything that can call an API can read your numbers, Power BI and Tableau included, on your own refresh schedule and without a native connector. Your analysts work in the tool they already use, and the ready dashboards stay available if you want them.

In Power BI you pull visitor counts, dwell, conversion funnels and trends straight from the API, joined with the POS, weather or campaign data you already hold there. Tableau workbooks run on the same API, so store, mall and city teams all work from one set of numbers. Analysts in another tool read the same numbers from the same open API, and templates for common segments give them a head start if they want one.
