People turned out in force to shop on Black Friday. The increase in visitor numbers in Swedish city centres reached record levels. That is shown by measurements carried out in several cities.
It is Bumbee Labs that reports this in a post on Instagram. The company’s measurements show that there were 30 percent more visitors on Kungsgatan in Stockholm during Black Friday than normal.
Largest increase in Ludvika
In Västerås, visitor numbers rose by as much as 40 percent, but the largest increase of all was in Ludvika. There, 58 percent more people than normal chose to visit the central parts of the town that Friday.
In general, all the cities where Bumbee Labs measures visitor flows generated significantly higher figures than normal.
